Role & responsibility on the board?

In my role as VP of Baseball Operations, I will focus on developing a league wide curriculum and structure on how players progress through the various divisions of play, and overall quality of play.  I will also work closely with the league directors on opportunities to improve league play and expedite player development.  One of the primary aspects of this role is to ensure we are accurately assessing players’ abilities and placement in respective leagues of play.

 

Share some of your experience or talents you bring to the board:

I graduated from Barton College in NC in 2000 where I played baseball. I coached 2 seasons for Wilson City Little League (2015 NC LL State Champions) before moving to Rocky Ridge in 2013. I have coached T-ball, Instructional, Minor, Major and 10-11 All-Star teams for Thurmont Little League.

 

What do you enjoy about being a part of TLL?

I really enjoy teaching the game and working with the kids. Thurmont Little League has great community involvement, which adds to the experience for the players and the coaches.
