Message from the President

 

Thurmont Little League Families,

 

Welcome to the 66th year of Thurmont Little League baseball. Our Board of Directors have been working diligently to prepare for the 2016 season, and continue to strengthen the rich legacy of Thurmont Little League baseball. Sure, we may be a small community, but our passion and love of baseball is second to none.

 

Our mission as a Board is to provide our children the best possible Little League experience that we can offer. The purpose of TLL is to develop our children for success both on the field, and off the field through the Little League pillars of Character, Courage, and Loyalty. There is a deep sense of pride that is associated with Thurmont Little League baseball.  Many have come before us, and many will follow in our footsteps.  It is our duty as a Board, Coaches, Parents, Volunteers, and Players to continue building the legacy and traditions that have forged this great organization into what it is today.  We HONOR our past and continue developing our future.  The future is the children in this program today.

 

Our legacy is deep rooted in community PRIDE.  I welcome all of our families to reignite the passion and sense of community pride that comes with participating in a program that has been in existence since 1952.  Energy, pride and passion are contagious. Let’s make this year the best year ever at Thurmont Little League.  The experiences of today are tomorrow's memories.
