Role & responsibility on the board?

In my role as the Director of Tee Ball, I am the liaison between the board and the t-ball coaches.  I ensure that both voices are heard and that things are being done with the best interest of the players and the league.   

 

Share some of your experience or talents you bring to the board:

Being a teacher, I have a great understanding of how kids work and the importance of gaining their trust.  I have coached basketball at Linganore High School and Golf at Oakdale High School.  By doing the above, I have also built a great understanding for the importance of communication.  This has helped me solve many problems with parents, coaches and players.  I look forward to coaching for years to come with TLL.

 

What do you enjoy about being a part of TLL?

Smiling kids!  I enjoy seeing kids having fun, after all that is what they all want.  I enjoy the small town feel as if we are all one big family. The support the town has is amazing and much appreciated.
