Role & responsibility on the board?

My role on the board is to record the discussions, action items and accomplishments that occur at the board meetings.

Share some of your experience or talents you bring to the board:

I am a CPA with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Frostburg State University and a master’s degree in Accounting from Colorado State University.  I have previously owned my own business and now am part of the senior accounting team at ManTech International.

I am going in to my 3rd season managing at TLL and have previously managed or coached 2 all-star teams.

 

What do you enjoy about being a part of TLL?

TLL has provided my family the opportunity to meet and become friends with many families in the Thurmont area.  The brand of baseball being played helps the kids develop their baseball skills while also learning skills that will help them be successful on and off the field.  It is great to be part of something that provides joy and entertainment to so many in our community.
