Role & responsibility on the board?

As Equipment Manager, I am in charge of making sure each team is eqipped with extra equipment for the players of his team including batting helmets, catchers equipment, bats, and more. 

 

Share some of your experience or talents you bring to the board:

I recently joined the board last year, but I have been involved with the league for almost 10 years now.  I have coached at every level within the organization . . . from tee-ball to where my son plays now at the major level.  There have been a great group of people on the board thoughout those years and they have all done great things to make Thurmont Little League the best Little League in Frederick County.  I believe we have improved the league over the last two years with a much better experience for both players and parents.  I am proud to be a part of this league and the strides we have taken to give that experince to you and look forward to more great seasons ahead.  

 

What do you enjoy about being a part of TLL?

The play at all levels is competitive and then once the game is over the players and paretns are sitting talking and having a hot dog or taco-in-a-bag.  It;s the atmosphere at the ball park that I enjoy the most.  TLL builds friendships among families and bonds players to where they become friends and it will stay with them forever.  When the players get older they will be sitting with a new group of friends and they will be telling stories of when they played baseball at TLL.
